Getting Started
All patients start with an ArcMed Intake Evaluation, a 90–120 minute in-home visit with a physician who reviews your history, performs a detailed physical exam, orders labs, recommends imaging, and builds your customized care plan (The LifeSpan Blueprint).
Yes, the ArcMed intake is required to create personalized long-term care plans. The ArcMed intake also opens access to member only therapy kits through ReliefRx (includes prescriptions, supplements, and thoughtful education).
LifeSpan Health is currently serving patients in the San Francisco Bay Area. In-home visits are available within service areas; virtual consultations are offered as follow-ups.
ArcMed Intake
Your provider performs a thoughtful and complete history and physical exam. Goals and health optimization plans are reviewed, labs are ordered and imaging plans are created. You will receive a detailed care blueprint (The LifeSpan Blueprint), have access to members only curated treatment kits (presciptions, supplements, and thoughtful education). From the ArcMed intake, additional member pathways open for truly optimized care.
No. Labs and imaging are billed separately and may be submitted to insurance depending on the test(s) being performed. We will provide cost transparency and support reimbursement efforts with your insurance provider, when possible.
Yes. Our ArcMed Couples Evaluation is ideal for those wanting shared optimization with individual attention.

We guide patients through diagnostic, preventive, and elective imaging. Imaging is thoughtfully recommended and assistance in coordinating imaging scheduling and performance is also available to members.
Diagnostic imaging is sometimes covered with proper documentation. Preventive or elective imaging is often self-pay. We help patients submit out-of-network claims for possible reimbursement.
Insurance, Billing & Reimbursement
No. LifeSpan Health Optimization is a concierge, self-pay practice designed for personalized care. Whenever possible, we help route labs and select services through your insurance provider and provide clear documentation to support potential out-of-network reimbursement for labs, imaging, and prescriptions.
Yes, in many cases. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) may be used to cover eligible medical expenses related to LifeSpan Health Optimization, including physician services, laboratory testing, imaging, and prescriptions, when deemed medically necessary.
We provide detailed invoices and medical documentation to support HSA/FSA reimbursement. Eligibility ultimately depends on your specific plan and administrator, and we recommend confirming coverage directly with them.
We offer a superbill, itemized receipt, CPT and ICD-10 codes, and a step-by-step guide to submitting claims to your insurance provider.
Home-Based Care Model
Yes. Initial intakes and many services are provided in your home. When appropriate, visits may also be arranged at a private office or approved partner location. Lab draws and imaging are completed at designated centers based on availability and location.
We ask for just a clean, quiet space with a chair and a flat surface. We arrive fully equipped, bringing a professional medical examination table, all necessary infection-control supplies (including gloves, gowns, linens, and sanitizer), and the clinical tools required to perform a thorough, comprehensive medical evaluation.
Privacy, Safety & Documentation
Absolutely. All records are kept using HIPAA-compliant charting practices. Your data is never shared without consent.
Yes. You’ll receive copies of lab results, imaging reports, supplement plans, and any therapeutic recommendations. All medical records can be provided upon request or consent for release.
Pharmacy, Supplements & Refills
Prescriptions are sent to your pharmacy of choice after evaluation. We work with local pharmacies to provide access to prescription medications promptly and seamlessly.
Absolutely. You can request a prescription refill through a virtual follow-up visit. Please note that additional fees may apply.
Yes. We can ship supplements or connect you with trusted vendors offering direct-to-home delivery and discounts.
Technology & Wearables
Yes. We interpret data from Oura, Apple, Hume and more to help assess heart rate variability (HRV), sleep, recovery, activity and health trends.
Yes. We offer optional sessions to help you interpret your metrics and make them actionable.
